Our projects

Martina Roeselová Memorial Fellowship

The Martina Roeselová Memorial Fellowship supports early-career researchers who combine excellent research with primary or equally shared care for a preschool-aged child. The fellowship provides financial support of CZK 150,000 for one calendar year to PhD students and early-career postdoctoral researchers who are facing challenging personal circumstances, are caring for a preschool-aged child, and are conducting research at universities or non-university research institutions in the Czech Republic.

Voucher program to bridge funding gaps in clinical research

Our primary objective is to ensure an uninterrupted flow of research that may lead to significant innovations, ultimately improving well-being for humanity. We have therefore established a new program offering fast and flexible vouchers (financial contributions of up to CZK 200,000) to cover essential clinical research expenses and bridge potential gaps in larger grant funding.

MIT-Czech Republic IOCB Tech Foundation Seed Fund

We help develop collaborations between scientists from Czech institutions and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in the U.S. We fund the MIT-Czech Republic IOCB Tech Foundation Seed Fund with $100,000 per year to support early-stage collaborations not covered by standard grant support.

Czech-Israeli Innovation Internships

Czech-Israeli Innovation Internships, a unique exchange program organized by the Neuron Foundation and IOCB Tech Foundation, offers four Israeli MA and PhD students to visit the Czech Republic and work in excellent Czech facilities under the guidance of renowned scientists. The one-month-long internship offers expanded research portfolios, opportunities to build international contacts, and overall invaluable experience.
